The Wayne Business and Industry Center will offer the free seminar “Fueling Your Business” 6-9 p.m., Tuesday, April 7, in Room 101 of the Walnut Building on Wayne Community College’s main campus in Goldsboro.
This seminar is designed to help small business owners and prospective entrepreneurs understand how to access credit and capital for their businesses. It will review the six basic principles many lenders use to make credit decisions and provide an overview of the resources available in North Carolina. It will also cover the N.C. Rural Center’s Microenterprise Loan Program and provide details about its lending criteria and application process.

Seats are still available in the Foundation of Wayne Community College’s mini course on William Shakespeare’s plays.
“Shakespeare Uncovered II” is set for 7 p.m. on Mondays, April 13, 20, and 27. It will be held in Room 101 in the Walnut Building on the college’s main campus in Goldsboro.

Cost is $25 for individuals and $40 for couples. An optional textbook, How Shakespeare Changed Everything by Stephen Marche, is available from the Foundation office.
The course, taught by Margaret Boothe Baddour, builds on her previous class on the “Bard of Avon.” In these sessions, she will tackle “Hamlet,” “Richard II,” and “The Comedies,” considering the times, influences, and psychology behind Shakespeare’s writing. Baddour promises some surprise live scenes from the plays presented by local actors.

Notary Public Education, two options: 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Saturday, April 18, or 5-9 p.m., Monday, April 20 and Wednesday, April 22;
Life and Health Insurance, 6-10 p.m. on Fridays and 8 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturdays, April 10-May 2; and|
Real Estate Pre-licensing, 6-10 p.m., Mondays and Wednesdays, March 30-June 15.
All of these courses will be held on the college’s main campus in Goldsboro.

Wayne Community College will hold its biannual public presentation on Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) infection and Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS) at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 31in Moffatt Auditorium on the college’s main campus in Goldsboro.
Dr. James Atkins of Southeastern Medical Oncology will share information on the prevalence, prevention, and treatment of HIV and AIDS. He will answer questions at the end of the session.

More than four dozen employers will be participating in the 23rd Annual Job Fair at Wayne Community College this Wednesday (March 25).
The fair, which open to the public at no charge, will be held 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Wayne Learning Center Atrium on the college’s main campus in Goldsboro.
Members of the public are encouraged to register at www.wayneworksnc.com/career-services and current WCC students are asked to sign up through EmploymeNC on that page. All participants are urged to register by March 23.
