Lex Gillette lost his sight at age 8 but went on to be a four-time Paralympic medalist and motivational speaker. Hear his story and learn why “there is no need for sight if you have vision” is his motto.
Gillette’s talk will be proceeded by a vendor fair starting at 5 p.m. He will participate in a meet-and-greet after his talk until 8 p.m. Both activities will take place in the Wayne Learning Center Atrium.
This event is free and open to the public. It is provided by WCC Counseling Services as a Disability Employment Awareness Month activity.
