Wayne Community College will hold a formal pre-Veterans Day ceremony at the Veterans of All Wars Memorials on the front of its campus at Wayne Memorial Drive in Goldsboro.
The event will be free and the public is invited to attend.
The speaker will be Col. Tammy McElhaney, commander of the 4th Mission Support Group on Seymour Johnson Air Force Base.
Also participating will be the Wayne Community College Chorus, Goldsboro Goldsboro Cougar Battalion Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC), and the Seymour Johnson Air Force Base Honor Guard.
If the weather is not comfortable, the back-up location will be Moffatt Auditorium in the Wayne Learning Center (building with flag poles in front).
