Campus Notice and Update

Wayne Community College leadership is monitoring this ever-changing situation in real-time and advises all members of the WCC community to continue to take precautions, including:

1. Avoiding contact with persons who are symptomatic, showing signs of illness, or showing flu-like symptoms;
2. Practicing social distancing of at least six feet;
3. Frequently cleaning hands with soap and water using a minimum of a 20-second washing technique or alcohol-based sanitizer if proper handwashing is not available; and
4. Covering your cough and sneezes with your flexed elbow or tissue, and washing your hands immediately thereafter.

Following the North Carolina Community College System guidance to significantly reduce campus operations and services, many of WCC’s buildings are closed and in-person, non-essential services are exclusively available online at this time.
